THE "SAVE" WAY

STEP 1
GOD’S PURPOSE:
PEACE AND LIFE

God loves you and wants you to experience
peace and eternal life.

The Bible says...
“... we have peace with God through our
Lord Jesus Christ.” Romans 5:1

“For God loved the world so much that
He gave His only Son, so that everyone
who believe in Him may not die but have
eternal life.” John 3:16

Since God planned for us to have
peace and the full life right now,
why are most people not having it?

STEP 2
OUR PROBLEM:
SEPARATION

God created us to be like Him and enjoy life.
He did not force us to love and obey Him,
but gave us a will and freedom of choice.
The first man and woman chose to disobey
God and go their own willful way. We still
make this choice today. This results in
separation from God.

The Bible says...
“Everyone has sinned and is far away from
God’s saving presence.” Romans 3:23

“For sin pays its wage - death; but God’s
free gift is eternal life in union with
Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23

Through the ages, individuals have tried in
many ways to cross this gap... without
success...

STEP 3
GOD’S ANSWER:
JESUS CHRIST

Jesus Christ is the only answer to this
problem. He died on the Cross and rose
from the grave, took the punishment for
our sin and bridged the gap between God
and man.

The Bible says...
“For there is one God, and there is one
who brings God and mankind together,
the man Christ Jesus.” 1Timothy 2:5

“But God has shown us how much He loves
us - it was while we were sinners that Christ
died for us!.” Romans 5:8

STEP 4
OUR RESPONSE:
RECEIVE CHRIST

We must trust Jesus Christ and receive Him
by personal surrender and invitation.

The Bible says
(Christ is speaking)...
“Listen! I stand at the door and knock; if
anyone hears my voice and opens the door,
I will come into his house and eat with him,
and he will eat with me.” Revelation 3:20

“Some, however, did receive Him and believed
in Him; so he gave them the right to become
God’s children.” John 1:12

CONFESSING CHRIST

The Bible says...
“If you confess that Jesus is Lord and
believe that God raised Him from death,
you will be saved.” Romans 10:9

EXAMPLE OF WHAT TO PRAY
(Make it your prayer today):

“Dear Lord Jesus,
I know that I am a sinner and need
Your forgiveness. I believe that You
died for my sins. I want to turn from
my sins. I now invite You to come into
my life. I trust You as Saviour and
follow You as Lord.
Thank you, Lord, for saving me.
In Jesus’s Name I pray
Amen. ”
